What I offer

What I offer

I offer individual therapy sessions, which usually take place weekly and last 50 minutes each.

My fee for each session is £70.

My private practice is within easy reach of the M4 motorway and therefore accessible to the areas of Reading, Shinfield, Wokingham, Winnersh, Woodley, Lower Earley, Spencer’s Wood, Swallowfield, Eversley, Finchampstead, Hartley Wintney, Hook and surrounding areas. My location is on Reading bus routes served by Leopard 3 and Mereoak P&R 600.

Please note my room is upstairs so I’m unfortunately unable to accommodate you if you can’t use stairs.

I also work from Mind Garden Therapy in Central Reading: 56 London Street, Reading, RG1 4SQ.

Private Healthcare providers I work with: Aviva, Vitality, WPA.

What to expect

What to expect

I offer an initial short phone call so we can get an initial feel on whether we might be able to work together. From this you choose to schedule an online or face-to-face session. At this first session I'll ask for some basic information to get to know you and also use this time to answer any questions that you might have. If it feels like we are a good fit, we will schedule additional meetings. I provide both brief therapy (typically lasting 6 to 18 sessions) to focus on specific concerns, and longer-term therapy to delve into deeper emotional challenges. You are always in charge of how many sessions you want and we review regularly.

My Approach

My Approach

Creating Space for Change

If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsettled—or if something just doesn’t feel quite right—therapy can offer a safe space to explore these feelings. Gestalt psychotherapy is especially helpful for looking at past events and understanding how they continue to shape your present. My role is to support you with compassion and curiosity, trusting that real change comes from accepting yourself, rather than from willpower or self-bullying.

Exploring Your Experience Together

In our sessions, I invite you to explore what’s happening for you right now. We’ll look closely at how you’ve learned to move through the world, and how your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations shape your experience in each moment. By examining these patterns, we can gain a clearer understanding of what’s working for you—and what might be holding you back.

Relational Approach

My style is relational, which means I pay attention not only to your individual experience, but also to how we interact together in the therapy room. Our work is shaped by the understanding that life is deeply interconnected, and you don’t have to face every challenge alone. We’ll also consider the wider cultural and societal influences that may be affecting you.

Mind-Body Connection

We’ll pay close attention to the connection between your body and mind, noticing how your emotions show up physically. This might feel new at first, but together we’ll discover the unique ways your body communicates. This process often leads to valuable insights and a deeper sense of self-awareness.

Supporting Life Transitions and Identity

I am especially committed to supporting women as they navigate significant life transitions—whether you’re coping with menopause, exploring your sexuality, managing the challenges of divorce, or responding to societal pressures around ageing. I’m passionate about helping you explore your identity, embrace change, and foster self-acceptance. My approach is always rooted in empathy, understanding, and a dedication to your empowerment.
